Effective Date: June 2025Last Updated: June 2025

This User Account Deletion Policy applies to Talkfever, accessible at https://www.talkfever.com, and explains how users may request deletion of their Talkfever account and how Talkfever handles account data, user content, personal information, posts, pages, groups, communities, creator activity, monetization records and connected platform data after an account deletion request.

Talkfever is operated by Talkfever Social Media Limited.

Company:Talkfever Social Media Limited
Registered Office:18-B, Ground Floor, Basant Vihar City Centre, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, 474004
CIN:U63120MP2020PLC050969
ISIN:INE1GRK01018 (NSDL)

This Policy should be read together with Talkfever’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Compliance Policy, Community Guidelines, Monetization Policy, Creator Policy, Copyright & Content Infringement Policy and any vertical-specific terms applicable to Talkfever’s connected platforms.

1. Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to provide users with a clear process for requesting deletion of their Talkfever account and to explain:

How account deletion requests can be submitted.

What happens after a deletion request is received.

What data may be deleted, anonymized or retained.

How public content, posts, comments, pages and groups are handled.

How monetization, payouts, creator rewards and campaign records are handled.

How connected verticals such as SarchBazar, Global Talk, AdBaazaar and VdoJunction may be affected.

What legal, safety, tax, fraud prevention and compliance records may be retained.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Registered Talkfever users
  • Creator accounts
  • Business accounts
  • Page owners
  • Group owners
  • Community admins
  • Monetization participants
  • Creator Led GTM participants
  • Advertisers and campaign users
  • Users connected with Talkfever verticals
  • Users who request account deletion, deactivation or erasure of personal data

This Policy applies only to Talkfever accounts and Talkfever-controlled data. Separate deletion or closure processes may apply to other verticals or third-party services.

3. Account Deletion vs Account Deactivation

Talkfever may provide two different options, where available:

3.1 Account Deactivation

Account deactivation temporarily disables your account visibility and access. Your profile may not be visible to other users, but your account data may remain stored so that you can reactivate your account later.

3.2 Account Deletion

Account deletion is a request to permanently delete or anonymize your Talkfever account and eligible personal data, subject to legal, regulatory, safety, fraud prevention, tax, payment, dispute and business record retention requirements.

If you want to permanently remove your account, you should select or request Account Deletion, not temporary deactivation.

4. How to Request Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion through one or more of the following methods, where available:

4.1 Through Account Settings

If available, users may submit a request through:

Account Settings → Privacy / Account → Delete Account

4.2 Through Support Email

Users may send an account deletion request to:

Account Deletion / Support Email: grievance@talkfever.com

Privacy / Grievance Email: grievance@talkfever.com

4.3 Required Information for Email Request

To process an account deletion request, Talkfever may ask for:

  • Full name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Registered email address
  • Talkfever username or profile link
  • Reason for deletion, optional
  • Identity verification, where required
  • Confirmation that the user wants permanent account deletion
  • Any pending transaction, payout, creator campaign or page/group ownership details

Talkfever may reject or delay requests where the user cannot be reasonably verified.

5. Verification of Request

Before deleting an account, Talkfever may verify that the request is genuine and made by the account owner or legally authorized person.

Verification may include:

  • OTP verification
  • Email confirmation
  • Login confirmation
  • Identity verification, where required
  • Cross-checking registered account details
  • Review of suspicious or compromised account activity

This verification helps protect users from unauthorized deletion requests.

6. Cooling-Off Period

Talkfever may provide a cooling-off period of 7 to 30 days after a deletion request is submitted.

During this period:

The account may be marked for deletion.

The user may be able to cancel the deletion request.

Account access may be limited or suspended.

Some public visibility may be reduced.

Pending verification or disputes may be reviewed.

If the user logs in or cancels the deletion request during the cooling-off period, the deletion request may be cancelled, unless otherwise confirmed.

7. Processing Timeline

Talkfever will make reasonable efforts to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law, technical feasibility and retention requirements.

Deletion may take longer where:

Identity verification is pending.

Account ownership is disputed.

Account is under legal, fraud or safety investigation.

There are unresolved payments, payouts, refunds or chargebacks.

There are active ads, campaigns or monetization records.

The user owns pages, groups, communities or business accounts.

Data exists in backups or archived systems.

Law requires certain records to be retained.

8. What Happens After Account Deletion

After account deletion is completed:

Your profile may no longer be visible on Talkfever.

Your login access may be permanently disabled.

Your username may be released, reserved or permanently blocked at Talkfever’s discretion.

Eligible personal data may be deleted or anonymized.

Public content may be deleted, anonymized, disconnected from your profile or retained in limited form depending on platform functionality and legal requirements.

Your followers, connections, page roles, group roles and community roles may be removed.

Monetization, creator and campaign participation may end.

You may lose access to rewards, wallet, credits, dashboard, analytics and platform history, subject to applicable terms.

9. User Content After Deletion

User content may include:

  • Posts
  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Reels or short videos
  • Comments
  • Replies
  • Reactions
  • Shares
  • Captions
  • Hashtags
  • Profile information
  • Page or group posts
  • Public community activity
  • Creator campaign content
  • Social commerce promotional content

After account deletion, Talkfever may delete, anonymize, disconnect or retain certain content depending on content type, public visibility, third-party interaction, legal obligations and technical feasibility.

For example:

Your profile page may be removed.

Your public posts may be deleted or anonymized where feasible.

Comments on other users’ posts may be anonymized or remain without active profile linkage.

Content reshared by others may remain visible if separately posted by another user.

Messages or communication history may remain visible to other participants in a limited form.

Content involved in complaints, legal notices, safety investigations or disputes may be retained as required.

10. Pages, Groups and Communities

If you own or manage pages, groups or communities, account deletion may affect those assets.

Before deletion, Talkfever may require:

Transfer of ownership/admin role to another eligible user.

Closure of the page, group or community.

Resolution of pending complaints or violations.

Settlement of paid promotions or monetization activity.

Review of business, brand or community ownership.

If no new admin is assigned, Talkfever may:

Suspend the page, group or community.

Appoint another admin where appropriate.

Archive or disable the page/group.

Remove monetization features.

Take any action required to protect users, members and platform integrity.

11. Creator, Award and Monetization Data

If your account participates in creator programs, Creator Led GTM Award, monetization, referral programs, social commerce campaigns, sponsored content, ad revenue share or other payout-linked programs, deletion may affect your eligibility and records.

Talkfever may retain records relating to:

  • Campaign participation
  • Award eligibility
  • Payout calculations
  • Payment history
  • Tax records
  • Fraud review
  • Referral activity
  • Sponsored content
  • Creator contracts or approvals
  • Monetization disputes
  • Revenue reversal or chargebacks

Deletion of account does not automatically remove legal, financial, tax, payout or compliance records.

Pending rewards, awards, commissions or payouts may be cancelled, paused, settled or reviewed according to applicable monetization and campaign terms.

12. Advertising and Business Account Data

If your account has used advertising, business tools, pages, sponsored posts, brand campaigns or promotional services, Talkfever may retain certain records for:

  • Campaign reporting
  • Billing and invoices
  • Tax compliance
  • Payment disputes
  • Refunds or chargebacks
  • Advertiser verification
  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Audit purposes

Deletion of a personal login account may not automatically delete business records, invoices, campaign records or legal obligations connected to advertising services.

13. Social Commerce and Marketplace Data

If your Talkfever account is connected with SarchBazar, vendor activity, social commerce campaigns, product promotion, customer leads, orders or marketplace activity, deletion of the Talkfever account may not automatically delete all marketplace records.

SarchBazar or other connected services may retain records for:

  • Orders
  • Payments
  • Refunds
  • Returns
  • Logistics
  • Vendor settlements
  • Customer support
  • Tax and accounting
  • Fraud prevention

Users may need to submit separate deletion or closure requests for vertical-specific accounts, subject to those platforms’ policies.

  • SarchBazar
  • Global Talk
  • AdBaazaar
  • VdoJunction
  • Creator GTM
  • Investor or business portals
  • Any other current or future Talkfever platform

Deleting your Talkfever account may affect access to these services, but it may not automatically delete all data maintained separately by each vertical.

Where a vertical has a separate account, transaction, campaign, vendor, advertiser, publisher or creator record, separate deletion, closure or retention rules may apply.

15. Data That May Be Retained

Talkfever may retain certain information even after account deletion where necessary for lawful, legitimate or compliance purposes.

Retained data may include:

  • Legal records
  • Tax and accounting records

Such data is not normally accessible for active use and will be deleted or overwritten according to Talkfever’s backup cycle, unless retention is required for legal, security or compliance reasons.

After account deletion:

Your account may no longer be available for new messages.

Your name/profile may be removed or anonymized.

Copies of messages may remain visible to other participants in their conversation history.

Talkfever may not delete message copies from other users’ accounts unless required by law or platform policy.

20. Effect on Wallet, Credits and Rewards

Withdraw eligible balances where permitted.

Resolve disputes or chargebacks.

  • Copyright complaint
  • Content infringement claim
  • Fraud investigation
  • Payment dispute
  • Monetization abuse
  • Safety report
  • Harassment or abuse complaint
  • Court or government request
  • Platform security investigation

Account deletion will not prevent Talkfever from investigating prior violations or taking action required by law or platform policy.

22. Request for Erasure of Personal Data

Users may request erasure of eligible personal data as permitted under applicable law.

However, erasure may be subject to limitations where data is required for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Contractual obligations
  • Tax or accounting records
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security
  • Dispute resolution
  • Exercise or defence of legal claims
  • Public interest or legal directions
  • Platform integrity and safety

Talkfever will review such requests according to applicable law and its Privacy Policy.

23. Reopening or Reactivating Deleted Accounts

Once account deletion is completed, reactivation may not be possible.

If a user wishes to use Talkfever again after deletion, the user may need to create a new account.

Talkfever may restrict reuse of the same phone number, email, username or identity where required for safety, fraud prevention, abuse prevention or legal reasons.

Previously deleted content, followers, messages, rewards, pages, groups, analytics and account history may not be restored.
